As they age or deal with an illness or disability, one question that is foremost in people's minds is how long they will be able to be independent in their homes. And that is the Samaritan Caregiver vision - to enhance people's dignity and reduce their social isolation by helping them remain independent. This vision becomes a reality only as we are able to recruit volunteers from local churches, clubs, and businesses to share in our mission, vision, and values.

Samaritan Caregivers is not a home health agency providing full time care. We are people helping out in a pinch. People say to us all the time, "My family and friends already lead very busy lives. I just want to be able to do this one thing on my own without having to ask for their help with it too."
