
Jamey Henderson
Executive Director
Jamey has served as the Executive Director since 2001 and is a licensed social worker. Her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology is from Wayland Baptist University, and she brings over 30 years of experience in human services to Samaritan Caregivers.
Jamey is a member of One Church where she sings with the Celebration Choir and plays piano. She enjoys growing and arranging flowers, running, Colts football, home decorating, traveling to Mackinac Island and spending time with family, including seven grandchildren & three great-grandchildren.

Rebekah Gillum
Medicare Specialist/IT

Rebekah joined the staff of Samaritan Caregivers in 2007. Her Bachelor of Science degree is from Olivet University, and she has years of experience in working with volunteers as well as office operations. Rebekah is an Indiana certified SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Provider) Counselor and coordinates Samaritan Caregivers Medicare Counseling program.
Rebekah enjoys crafting and owns Rebel's Razzle Dazzle Designs. She also enjoys shopping for bargains, gardening (but not weeding), photography, baking and learning new things.

Teresa Simpson
Transportation Coordinator

Teresa is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College with a degree in Human Services and a Gerontology concentration. She has been with Samaritan Caregivers since 2010. Her strong connections in the community and her ability to communicate effectively make a positive difference in the lives of seniors.
Teresa spends her time assisting with auctions, bee keeping and flower gardening and enjoys cooking and reading.

Melody "Mo" Tanner
Grocery Program Coordinator

Mo joined the Samaritan Caregivers staff in September 2025 as the Grocery Program Coordinator.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from General Motors Institute and has many years of experience in volunteer work and coordination. Melody has participated in multiple mission trips across the country and assisted with numerous outreach activities in our community.
She has a strong sense of curiosity which keeps her both busy and constantly learning. Melody especially enjoys meeting new people, everything to do with autumn and traveling with family and friends.

Tayler Rairigh
Administrative Assistant

Tayler joined Samaritan Caregivers as the Administrative Assistant in September 2025. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English (concentration in Writing, Editing and Media) and a Master of Public Management (concentration in Healthcare Management) from IU Kokomo, completing her studies in August 2025. Tayler looks forward to serving everyone at Samaritan Caregivers with her technical and administrative skills.
Tayler is a member of Zion Chapel Church in Peru, where she serves as the Sound Booth/Livestream Ministry Director, Church Board Secretary and one of the Worship Team drummers. Tayler enjoys photography, music and traveling.

Erica Cunningham
Events Coordinator
Erica joined Samaritan Caregivers in February 2026 as Events Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Ball State University. With more than 20 years of networking experience throughout Howard County, Erica brings a strong passion for building meaningful connections and strengthening community partnerships to further support and serve our senior community.
In her spare time, Erica enjoys being outdoors walking her dog, hiking, and heading to the lake for boating or jet skiing. She has been happily married to her husband for 22 years. Together, they enjoy spoiling their beloved fur babies, spending time with family and friends, especially their four nieces and two nephews.

Marla Geiger
SHIP Office Administrative Assistant
Marla joined Samaritan Caregivers in August of 2026. She brings with her nearly a decade of nonprofit experience and many years of customer service experience and community connections.

Marla has a heart for our community and the people of our community. She has volunteered in various capacities over the years among the homeless population and with women who are incarcerated. She has offered biblical counseling services as her passion is to walk beside those who are suffering, supporting them as they recognize the impact of trauma on their lives while they walk through the healing process. She also loves speaking at women’s events relaying messages of healing and empowerment. In her spare time, Marla enjoys yoga, blogging and spending time at the beach.
